The Cessna Citation Excel (560XL) is a medium sized business jet manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company. The Citation series of business jets encompasses six distinct families – and the Excel (560XL), the Citation XLS as well as the Citation XLSPlus are one of these families.

The Exel is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada turbofan engines and can seat up to 10 passengers in high-density configuration, basically six to eight passengers in a corporate configuration and is being flown by a crew of two.
The Citation XLS and XLS Plus are developments of the Excel, with better performance due to more powerful engines. Its range is about 1858 NM.
