The Cessna 208 Caravan built by Cessna is a single turboprop engine, fixed-gear short-haul utility aircraft. The aircraft seats nine passengers, with a single person crew. It is also used for cargo operations.

The Cessna Caravan is produced since 1984, after two years of certification and testing. Cessna designed many different models of the Caravan: the cargo master and the Grand Caravan (passenger model) – the basic airframe of the plane can be modified e.g. with various types of landing gears to allow operating in different environments.
